Agile was founded in 2003 by Tricia Dempsey to meet the needs of technology firms in Atlanta and the Southeast. We have seen rapid growth over our relatively young life as a company. In 2009, Agile was named an Inc. 5000 company.

Before founding Agile, CEO Tricia Dempsey served the technology staffing industry for over ten years. She held a variety of leadership positions for companies ranging from $5 million to over $1 billion in annual revenues. It was during her tenure at these companies that she felt something was missing in what traditional IT staffing companies offered clients, candidates/consultants, and employees. 

Tricia then set out to create a new kind of IT staffing firm in Atlanta – a firm with a higher purpose…a firm that would work smarter and faster to meet the different needs of all stakeholders simultaneously. Tricia believed that such a firm would ensure higher success rates. And she was right. Agile quickly grew in the first eight months – evidence that we had pinpointed a real need that wasn’t being adequately met. Since then, we’ve grown our company over 400% and now serve technology leaders throughout the region, drawing on global talent pools. Now providing IT professional services in addition to IT staffing, we’re still firmly committed to the same core principles and creative thinking that we built Agile on from the very beginning.
