Tricia entered the IT staffing industry in 1996. Prior to founding Agile, she served in a variety of leadership positions at companies ranging from $5 million to over $1 billion in annual revenues. Tricia has worked with clients of all sizes – from Fortune 100 companies to mid-market and emerging organizations. Her experience in IT staffing and professional services reaches across a variety of different industries including healthcare, financial services, media, technology, telecommunications, transportation, manufacturing, and more.

Community involvement

Tricia’s commitment to Agile is matched by her passion for service within Atlanta’s technology community. She serves as an officer and Program Manager of Outreach for Women in Technology (WIT) and on the board of Komen for the Cure – Greater Atlanta Affiliate.   Since 2004, Tricia has been captain of Team Agile in the Race for the Cure. In 2004, she also founded Agile on the Green – the technology community’s premiere golf charity. Agile on the Green benefits the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation and has seen great success – raising over $135,000 for the cure, so far.

Education

A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Tricia was a basketball scholarship recipient and Academic All-American. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a B.A. in Education and later earned her M.S. in Education at the same university.

Family

Tricia lives in Cumming, GA with her husband, Jeff and daughter, Catherine. The Dempsey family enjoys spending time together boating on Lake Lanier and are avid fans of Georgia Tech football.
