Summary

This is a perm opportunity in Alpharetta. The Senior Software Engineer will participate as a member of an Agile development team in the design, development and testing of an ASP.NET (C#) based Governance Risk and Compliance software application. This is a development shop with smart, senior level, heavily vetted software engineers. Can be a strong front end or back end developer as long as you are a solid SE with strong experience in web technologies (HTML or jQuery, etc.)

Responsibilities

• The role of this engineer is to take a lead role in the development and support of a complex SAAS application and associated services and tools for a global GRC solution. 
• This will include writing and expanding Microsoft ASP.Net and ASP.Net MVC web solutions, web services, and WCF services, Microsoft T-SQL scripts and procedures.
• The engineer should also have a solid understanding of HTML, the Document Object Model, AJAX, as well as in-browser development using JavaScript and jQuery.
• They will work closely with business analysts and product managers to gather business requirements, design, code, and test solutions following best practices from design through implementation.
• It will be expected that they will evaluate and recommend alternative approaches to the needs of each project as well as serve as a mentor to junior development staff on proper development practices and techniques.

Qualifications

• 5+ years enterprise Web application development experience using ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC,  C#, JavaScript, web services, and WCF
• 2+ years experience with jQuery, jQuery UI, and writing jQuery plugins preferred (jQuery is a plus not a must have)
  Significant experience with SQL Server database T-SQL development (Stored Procedures, Queries, DDL and DML)
• Strong object oriented design and programming skills.
• Experience with Test Driven Development.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written, be a self-starter and team player, and show initiative to get things done.
• Must be results-driven and have a goal oriented attitude, as well as be conscientious about producing the highest quality of work.
